In tegenstelling tot een gewone papieren koop- of eigendomsakte, worden <strong>Security Tokens geregistreerd op blockchain<\/strong>, dus aankopen en uitwisselingen zijn sneller, transparanter en veiliger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Een Security Token Offering verschilt bovendien van een Initial Decentralised Exchange Offering omdat het gereguleerd is en onder toezicht staat van een financi\u00eble autoriteit, net als een traditioneel financieel instrument, en dit beschermt tegen oplichting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Daarnaast is <strong>het grote voordeel van Security Tokens<\/strong> dat ze ook fracties van activa kunnen vertegenwoordigen: het is bijvoorbeeld mogelijk om het eigendom van een huis te tokenen door het op te delen in kleinere kavels, zodat \u00e9\u00e9n token overeenkomt met het eigendom van slechts een deel van het gebouw. Dit maakt de weg vrij voor de creatie van veel nieuwe soorten activa die toegankelijk zijn voor veel soorten investeerders, zelfs voor degenen die niet over substanti\u00eble financi\u00eble middelen beschikken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Een STO kan dezelfde juridische structuur hebben als een crowdfundingcampagne. Wie deelneemt aan een crowdfundingcampagne kan het echter moeilijker vinden om de investering liquide te maken, terwijl het bij <strong>tokenization<\/strong> dankzij blockchain gemakkelijker is om
